“We arrived out the assigned central London venue a little after noon on one of the hottest days on record. I mention the heat because our host and photographer had thoughtfully brought an electric fan from home to aid in cooling us; it was, not as Ant might have possibly thought, so he could kick out a wind-swept Beyoncé impression. This random act of kindness pretty much summed up Rich from the off, gracious to the max, attentive and gently jovial - we immediately felt relaxed in his company.

Affable conversation flowed with no pressures to begin, so that when we eventually did indeed do that it was as effortless as breathing. A few shots clothed to bring us at full ease with the camera and then we began to disrobe. Now I’m not one for stripping at the drop of a hat, nor have I ever held a desire to see my distinctly unolympian physique immortalised onto film, yet here I was doing just that, and happily so. Even when it came to the choice of being fully nude I dived right in, as unsalacious and far removed from tawdry as it could be. Let me shine, I thought, let me shine. I was also buoyed by watching Ant who was exuding a cool sensuality from every pore.

Throughout the shoot of an hour or more Rich gently directed and warmly encouraged, showing us through the shots as we went. This rather daring adventure had proved to be the most comfortable ride and we were elevated by the whole experience and the excitement of seeing the vast array of images that would come to be.
