We Are Eight!

It’s BearHotel.net’s eighth birthday and we got balloons to celebrate! (Champagne, jelly & ice cream not pictured)

Wanna help see the project through another year? Here’s the eight super easy ways that you can help:-

1) Tell 8 of your bear-loving body-positivity minded friends that you think would enjoy the project about it. Email them right now! Now!!!

2) Reskeet 8 of my witty/sexy/inane messages on @bearhotel.bsky.social (Retweet them on X if you must but I will morally judge you, I was @RichAtBearHotel on there but it’s mothballed now)

3) Drop a ‘like’ heart on your 8 favourite guys on my @bearhotel instagram - there are lots of extra photos from the shoots on there and sometimes you can see & hear the guys welcoming you to their room too.

4) Put a reminder in your diary for the 8th of every month to check out who’s checked into the hotel since you last looked.  Did you know there’s at least one or two hotties every week?

5) By 2028 (I think you can see where’re going with this) make sure you have volunteered to have your portrait taken for the hotel.  It costs nothing, you don’t have to go nude, you get to to choose the photos that we use online, and most folks say it was a fun empowering experience!

6) Donate £8 to support the project.  If a few folks threw me the price of a (London) coffee & a danish it would go along way to covering my hotel room rentals/website costs/snack bills, and think of the calories you’d save!  It almost like I’m doing you a favour, you’re welcome. 7) Have a read of the latest article about the project on Bear World Magazine, it’s available in the Lobby Newsstand.  I think you know already it’s a breezy 8 minute read!

8) Call by the BearHotel Cinema for some multimedia treats - you can listen to the Bear Bares podcast and watch Steve from Room 108’s mini-documentary about the project.  They’re both 8 mins long.  That’s a blatant lie but, y’know, themes.

Finally I’ve got to thank every one of the four hundred and thirty-five men and non-binary folks who let me take their portrait in past eight years. Without you it’d be awfully empty in here!
