BH: Which is your favourite hotel in the whole world?
J: Love Island House on Key West, Florida. Complete gay space/environment with a great staff, great service, great food and a wonderful vibe. I love the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong too.

BH: What's the naughtiest thing you've ever done in a hotel?
J: At a hotel in Fort Lauderdale a need to escape some hot tub drama led to a six-way in someone's room. Me, my husband and two other couples (and yes, we're still in touch!)

BH: Where is your dream holiday destination?
J: I dream about visiting Thailand--never have been and think it's probably pretty special

BH: Full English or continental?
J: I actually really enjoy the cold Swiss/German breakfast with hard rolls, cheese and ham, bircher muesli and cucumbers. And lots of good hot tea (black, no milk needed)

BH: Who would you most like to share a hotel room with?
J: Hotel room sharing is so good to have a kiki - I think Tim Walz would be a hoot (and all props to him - football coach sponsoring the gay-straight student alliance!)

BH: What's your first choice from the mini-bar?
J: I have stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years (several years had jobs with 100% travel) and I have never gotten anything from the minibar!

BH: What do you love most about staying in hotels?
J: That the sheets are pulled tightly and everything is tidy. Let's just say I don't live my life that way!

BH: If you could order anything from the BearHotel room service right now what would it be?
J: Hmmm… a fun rubber-bear for squeaky times would be cool!

BH: Who would you recommend stays in BearHotel next?
J: More cubs and walruses…I might whisper to some friends who might be interested

BH: What do you wear to bed?
J: Nothing. Starkers here.

BH: Firm or soft?
Firm mattress, very very flat pillow (have been known to sub-in a couple folded bath towels if the pillows are too puffy). Men? I love contrasts

BH: Ever got off with a member of hotel staff?
J: Nope, always wanted to give the folks who keep things nice their space

BH: Stolen anything from a hotel room?
J: Nope
